Focus
Early in my career I realized I wanted to work with people in my community with whom I could have direct long term multi-generational relationships. I enjoy taking the time to really get to know them, their families and their long-term dreams and ambitions and working to become their trusted advisor.
Now after over 30 years as a Financial Advisor, it’s very rewarding to work with them throughout their life and put strategies and plans in place to help them achieve their objectives. It fills me with great pride to watch someone retire on time or have a child or grandchild graduate from college without any debt due to the planning work we did along the way.
Background & experience
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Princeton University, I embarked on a rewarding career in the financial services industry. I joined Wheat First Union, a predecessor firm to Wells Fargo Advisors, where I quickly rose to a leadership position. In this role, I played a crucial role in leading our business operations in the western NY area. My primary focus has always been on assisting my clients in developing comprehensive wealth planning strategies. By helping individuals implement effective retirement savings strategies, I put strategies in place to help ensure a steady income during their retirement years, allowing them to prioritize what truly matters to them..
Continuing my career development, I completed the coursework and examinations to earn my Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation. The RICP® curriculum provides me with advanced knowledge on all retirement income styles and planning strategies so I am able to help my clients achieve their vision of retirement.
Away from the office
I am committed to serving our clients and our community. I volunteer at several organizations including as a Board Member of the Aquinas Institute – which is an inner-city private school that both my father and I attended. The mission of the Aquinas Institute is to provide educational opportunities to children from low- and middle-income families – a mission I firmly embrace. In addition, I serve at the Board level for the Rochester Rotary, and I have also volunteered my time on various committees and boards for Princeton University for the last 30 years. Currently I serve as a local resource for high schoolers interested in learning more about Princeton.
Fitness and nutrition are a priority for me. As a cancer survivor I embrace a wellness approach to my life and exercise regularly, play sports, golf and travel with family and friends.
Born and raised in the Rochester area my wife and I have been married for over 30 years and have raised three children and now have a grandson.
